4. Brian Hill, RB, Falcons (vs. TB)

Brian Hill was thrust into the spotlight after Devonta Freeman went down with an injury. In Week 10 in relief of Freeman, he had 20 carries for 61 yards and touchdown. But in Week 11, it wasn’t the same story as he mustered just 15 carries for 30 yards and a catch for eight yards. However, he did also have a touchdown that was called back due to a penalty.

Luckily for Hill and his fantasy football owners, he gets the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and nothing helps you bounceback quite like that defense who, since the first two weeks of the season, is giving up an average of 32 points per game to opposing offenses. Despite their statistical play against the run, the Bucs have also conceded 10.3 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in the last five games.

With Freeman out again this week and Julio Jones struggling to find the end zone, look for Hill to vulture a touchdown and exceed his projected 9.1 points this week. He is a high-end flex play this week.

3. Baker Mayfield, QB, Browns (vs. MIA)

At the beginning of the season, it would’ve been hard to imagine Baker Mayfield on a list of sleepers for a week instead of a set-it and forget-it QB1 — but here we are. Over the season, Mayfield has shown no reason to be in your lineups, especially this late in the season with crucial games coming up. But over the past three weeks, he looks like the quarterback we saw in 2018.

First off, he’s gone three straight weeks without a turnover. In the first seven games, he had at least one giveaway in every game. Secondly, he has shown improvement against three very good defenses in the past three games (Broncos, Bills, Steelers), averaging 19 points per game in that span. Lastly, he faces the Dolphins in Week 12.
