2. Brees throws 4 TD passes to 4 different receivers

The big storyline ahead of Week 12 is how impressive Drew Brees was against the Buccaneers. It was as if he was an entirely different player than he was against the Falcons. Maybe it was the sting of the loss, but Brees looked as good as he did before his injury. While he sometimes does take a dip around mid-season, it looks like he’s avoiding that after Week 11.

In Week 12, expectations are even higher for the 40-year old. While he only threw three touchdowns passes against Tampa, I predict that he’ll throw for four against the Panthers.

This prediction comes with a twist as I think that all four of them will be thrown to different receivers. It doesn’t happen often, but if anyone can do it, it’s Brees. Last week, all three of Brees’ touchdown passes were caught by different receivers and this week he can do the same while upping his production.

Of course, Brees will always connect with Michael Thomas as he’s easily his favorite target. I also think that Brees will connect with Ted Ginn Jr. and Jared Cook again. Things have been delayed for both of them so it’s time they get in on the fun.

Last but not least, Brees will hopefully connect with Taysom Hill. We haven’t heard much from Hill in the past few weeks and it’s finally time for him to step back in the spotlight. Brees played amazingly last week, but he has the chance to play even better this week.
