2. Patriots vs. Cowboys

For obvious reasons, the Dallas Cowboys were thrilled to see the New England Patriots hand the Philadelphia Eagles a loss last Sunday to help them increase their lead in the NFC East to a full game.

Now, the question becomes whether the Cowboys have what it takes to defeat the defending champions on the road since taking down the Patriots is never an easy task.

From a talent perspective, there’s every reason to believe that Dallas is capable of pulling this one off since Dak Prescott is fortunate enough to work with two reliable weapons on offense in Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper.

Not to mention, if the Cowboys were smart, they would look at the game film from a few weeks ago when the Baltimore Ravens found a way to shred the defense of the Patriots, and find a way to take a similar approach.

Facing New England’s defense will be another great test for Dallas to see how they look against another legitimate contender, but also it will be up to the defense of the Cowboys to keep Tom Brady and the rest of the offense in check as well.

If Dallas were looking for another opportunity to prove themselves worthy of being Super Bowl contenders, a win in New England would be one way to make a major statement.
