QB. Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow. 1. player. 56.

For the Bengals to truly hit the reset button on their franchise, they need to start with the quarterback. Andy Dalton wasn’t it and Ryan Finley is even more clearly not it. Joe Burrow, however, may be it. The LSU signal-caller has taken a tremendous step forward this season, showing tremendous decision-making, accuracy and playmaking that make him a great tone-setter for Cincinnati’s rebuild.

. EDGE. Washington Commanders. Chase Young. 2. player. 58

For my money, the Washington Redskins should trade the No. 2 pick to the highest bidder looking for a quarterback if they want to operate in the best possible manner. With no trades in this NFL Mock Draft, though, Washington takes Chase Young off of the board. The Ohio State edge rusher is an absolute monster capable of being a highly effective pass rusher the moment he steps on the field in D.C.

. WR. New York Giants. Jerry Jeudy. 3. player. 31

Despite the large player pool available, this was a tough spot to make a selection. The New York Giants would love to have Chase Young but he’s gone. They could possibly stand to improve their offensive line but that may not be a primary need. As such, they get Daniel Jones an elite weapon in Jerry Jeudy as the Alabama wide receiver is an elite combination of physical tools and positional nuance that make him a likely NFL star.

Denver Broncos. Andrew Thomas. 4. player. 45. . OT

The problems for the Broncos this season have not been singular this season. However, they could stand to seriously improve that offensive line. Andrew Thomas is the best offensive tackle in the class by my measure, a position he’s occupied all year. The Georgia big man is athletic out on the edge with great footwork and strength that should allow him to be effective in the run and passing attacks right away in Denver.
