New York Jets. Jedrick Wills. 9. player. 30. . OT

Sam Darnold and the New York Jets have been better over the past couple of games but level of competition has a lot to with that. The offensive line protecting the hopeful franchise quarterback remains suspect on its best day. Jedrick Wills has performed beautifully for Alabama this season at right tackle but translates to play either side of the line and could be a tremendous bit of security for a quarterback that needs to stop seeing ghosts.

. CB. Jacksonville Jaguars. Kristian Fulton. 10. player. 52

Trading away Jalen Ramsey was not a bad move for the Jaguars. This was a player that clearly did not want to be there and wouldn’t be there for the long term, so getting a first-rounder for him was the right call. However, they need to replace him and Kristian Fulton can be the man for the job. The LSU corner may not be playing at the level of his true freshman counterpart, Derek Stingley, but Fulton has boatloads of talent and can be an effective NFL cover man.

Las Vegas Raiders. Isaiah Simmons. 11. player. 28. . LB

Pick via Bears

Jon Gruden deserves legitimate NFL Coach of the Year consideration for his work with the Raiders this season. A team that seemed destined for a last-place finish in the AFC West is very much in the playoff race right now. Their linebacker group remains a problem, though, so they add Clemson’s Isaiah Simmons here. The freak athlete is a great asset already in coverage and his speed and instincts make him a versatile chess piece to deploy in a variety of ways.

. DT. Atlanta Falcons. Derrick Brown. 12. player. 44

Derrick Brown has been one of the most disruptive forces in college football this season. The Falcons absolutely need someone like the Auburn defensive tackle on their line to take some pressure off of Grady Jarrett. While Atlanta might like an edge rusher more, they don’t reach at that position and get a stud in Brown to beef up a defense that surely needs it.
