24. Atlanta Falcons (21)

Just when it seemed like the Atlanta Falcons were heating up at the right time following two impressive wins in a row over the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers, Dan Quinn’s team took another step back on Sunday by losing to the Atlanta Falcons.

After defeating the two legitimate playoff contenders within the NFC South, a meeting at home with the Buccaneers made it seem like the Falcons would be in for an easy third win in a row.

Instead, Atlanta looked like the team that previously lost six games in a row before their surprise two-game winning streak prior to Sunday.

And even if the argument can be made the Falcons would have played better with a healthier Julio Jones, it still doesn’t take away from the frustrations surrounding this team all season.

Talent-wise, Atlanta should have been able to be in the mix for one of the playoff spots in the NFC, and the team will soon need to decide if Quinn is worth keeping around for another season.

Quinn’s hot seat had been cooling down a bit before Week 12, but it looks like the Falcon coach has returned to the unfortunate discussion since his job is far from secure.
