22. Chicago Bears (22)

One can only imagine what this week would have been like for the Chicago Bears if they lost Sunday’s game at home against a two-win team in the New York Giants, but thank goodness they found a way to rally in the second half to earn the 19-14 win.

After putting up just three points in the first half, the Bears appeared to be heading towards another frustrating loss that would have been the perfect example of how 2019 has turned out to be.

Sunday’s win over New York certainly doesn’t allow Chicago off the hook, but at least being 5-6 is way better than 4-7 since the Bears have already been under the microscope for most of the regular season.

With that being said, Chicago fans hoping to see Mitch Trubisky bounce back with a statement win to show he deserves to be considered for the long run still were most likely left with disappointment once again.

Facing a struggling defense for the most part in the Giants at home seemed like the perfect opportunity for Trubisky to show off his skills, yet the former first-round pick only threw for one touchdown pass to go along with two interceptions.

Unless Trubisky finds a way to shock some of the doubters over the final five games, the Bears should strongly consider potential replacements once the offseason gets underway, or it’s only going to continue holding Matt Nagy’s offense back.
