11. Indianapolis Colts (13)

When seeing how close the AFC South is, Thursday’s loss to the Houston Texans could be one of those games the Indianapolis Colts look back on wishing they finished on the winning end.

Prior to the game, the Colts were in the driver’s seat in regards to the AFC South race since they had a slight edge over the Texans, but this is no longer the case entering Week 13.

All of a sudden, Indianapolis will need some help from other teams playing Houston while winning key games of their own, or Frank Reich‘s team will be forced to compete for one of the Wild Card spots.

The good news for the Colts is from a talent perspective, this team certainly has the talent on both sides of the football to make a deep run in the playoffs come January if they earn the opportunity to play.

With a few extra days off, Indianapolis will look to take advantage of this factor for another key Week 13 battle against a familiar face in the Tennessee Titans.

If the Colts want to keep the pressure on the Texans, they need to defeat the Titans, or Indianapolis is only going to dig a deeper hole in the AFC South race.
