10. Kansas City Chiefs (8)

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs are far from the dominant team football fans saw during the 2018 season, this still seems like the last team any opponent should want to play in January if Andy Reid‘s squad happens to earn a spot in the playoffs.

At the moment, the Chiefs control their own destiny when it comes to the AFC West race since the Oakland Raiders are making things a little more interesting.

But if a final prediction needed to be made at this very moment, Kansas City would still be considered the top team to beat in the division since Patrick Mahomes is reigning MVP for a reason.

Despite dealing with some injuries throughout the regular season, no one needs to explain just how dangerous of a quarterback Mahomes can be when on top of his game, especially with all of the great weapons he’s fortunate enough to work with on offense.

After a week off, Kansas City looks to continue building a case in the AFC West with their second meeting of the year with Oakland, which the Chiefs should benefit from for playing in front of their own fans.

Assuming that Kansas City finishes on the winning end against Oakland, it only seems like a matter of time before the division is officially locked up.
