7. Minnesota Vikings (7)

With six wins over their last seven games, the Minnesota Vikings seem to be playing their best football at the right time with the end of the regular season right around the corner.

Even if the Vikings were to earn a trip to the playoffs as a Wild Card team, with the way this team has been playing over the last two months, Minnesota could be in for a serious run.

Of course, if this is going to happen, Kirk Cousins will need to continue playing at a high level, and show the rest of the world he was worth every penny of that hefty contract signed prior to last season.

After struggling for the most part in September, the Vikings have done an incredible job at getting back on track to become a serious threat in the NFC, but also this team still has a long way to go.

Last season is the perfect example of how quickly a playoff spot can slip away after Minnesota lost a critical game in Week 17 before losing the No. 6 seed, so hopefully this won’t be the case again this time around.

Playing on the road in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks will be far from an easy win, but for all the Vikings know, this could be an early playoff preview, depending on how the rest of the regular season plays out.
