6. Green Bay Packers (4)

Rough doesn’t even begin to describe how Sunday night was for the Green Bay Packers, but at least this was only one game, and no reason for concern during the final stretch of games.

If anything, the Packers should use this as a learning experience to realize that earning a trip to the playoffs is far from a guarantee, and a talented team like the San Francisco 49ers could be standing in their way of a Super Bowl run once January arrives.

Normally, Aaron Rodgers loves these kinds of games as one of the most competitive quarterbacks in the NFL, but the fact that he sat towards the end of the contest due to a blowout shows the type of night this was for Green Bay.

While the Packers certainly aren’t happy about coming up short against the 49ers to put themselves in better position to compete for a first-round bye in the playoffs, one team is certainly happy about Sunday’s outcome, which is the Minnesota Vikings.

Thanks to San Francisco embarrassing Green Bay, Minnesota is in much better shape when it comes to the NFC North by now having the same record as their rivals, even if they still technically trail due to the head-to-head tiebreaker.
