31. New York Giants (30)

After one half of action, the New York Giants seemed to be on the verge of winning their first game on Sunday since the end of September before falling apart in the second half against the Chicago Bears.

Since Soldier Field, in general, is never an easy place for opponents to play on top of Chicago’s defense being one of the top units in the league, the Giants knew they would be in for a tough battle in Week 12.

But with a seventh loss in a row, it seems unlikely that New York will win another game in 2019 since their remaining schedule looks brutal with games against the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles (twice).

The good news for the Giants is since this year was already expected to be a season of rebuilding, New York coming up short of the playoffs won’t be viewed as that big of a disappointment.

If anything, the unexpected experience for Daniel Jones as a rookie should help the Duke product in the long run help New York become a legitimate contender again in the NFC sooner rather than later.

Sunday was another example to show the Giants still have plenty of work on their plates as far as the future is concerned, but as previously mentioned, this rookie experience for Jones is what matters the most in New York.
