The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Packers on Sunday Night Football to get to double-digit wins and these were the studs and duds from Week 12.

Sunday Night Football in Week 12 began what will be a taxing three-game stretch for the San Francisco 49ers. Starting with welcoming the Green Bay Packers to Levi’s Stadium in primetime, they have to travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens in Week 13 and then stay on the road against the New Orleans Saints for the following game. Thus, they needed to make a statement against the former-No. 2 seed in the NFC in the Packers.

Kyle Shanahan’s team emphatically accomplished that task. The 49ers defense set the tone early as they forced an Aaron Rodgers fumble on the first drive and set up a quick Tevin Coleman touchdown. After that and with Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle working in tandem while the defense harassed the Packers, there was no looking back for the 49ers.

Jumping out to a 23-0 lead heading into halftime, San Francisco dominated the Packers with a 37-8 victory on Sunday night. The victory now moves the 49ers to 10-1 on the season, making them and the New England Patriots — Garoppolo’s former club — the first two teams to reach double-digit wins on the 2019 season.

This victory was critical for the 49ers as they look to set the tone for this upcoming three-game stretch. Makings such a statement in primetime against a great team like Green Bay puts the Ravens and Saints, two teams with Super Bowl aspirations, on notice that they aren’t the only team in these forthcoming games that have goals to make it to Miami in February.

In truth, there were very few areas where the San Francisco 49ers weren’t dominant on Sunday Night Football against the Packers. However, we’ll find at least a couple of bad marks for this team as we weave through the Niners’ studs and duds from the critical Week 12 win.
