New Orleans Saints (9-2) at Atlanta Falcons (3-8)

Thursday, November 28, 8:20PM ET

So the Atlanta Falcons beat the New Orleans Saints. Then they beat the Carolina Panthers. Then, somehow, they couldn’t overcome arguably the NFC South’s top squad, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It’s like even they can’t figure out whether or not they’re a decent team.

Well, after watching that lackluster effort from the Falcons in Week 12, I’m confident that the Saints can exact revenge against their divisional foes. You can be certain they won’t fall victim against Atlanta again, and will be prepared to avoid what was a trap game the last time around.

Drew Brees is coming off yet another impressive outing against a solid Carolina Panthers defense. That should give him the momentum needed to crush the Atlanta defense, which has been one of the worst this season when it comes to slowing the pass. Throw in some Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara, and you’ve got a winning recipe for New Orleans.

As long as the Saints defense doesn’t crumble as it has at times this season, the win should go to the visiting team. The Falcons won’t go down easy, but Brees and Co. get a much needed win as they desperately cling to a first-round bye in a loaded NFC playoff picture.

Prediction: Saints win
