New York Jets (4-7) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-11)

Sunday, December 1, 1PM ET

I didn’t even know the New York Jets were capable of pulling off a blowout win. Well, that’s exactly what they did in Week 12, making minced meat of the Oakland Raiders’ hopes of sneaking into the postseason. Now, they’re hungry for another easy win in Week 13.

Luckily for them, a matchup with the winless Cincinnati Bengals should provide that. I’m not saying it’s a foregone conclusion, primarily because the Jets have been bad at times this season. And yet, with Sam Darnold under center and the New York defense exceeding expectations in recent weeks, it seems likely they’ll be able to get the job done against Cincinnati.

It has been a season to forget for the Bengals. They’ve benched (and promoted) Andy Dalton, dealt with a ton of injuries and watched the Zac Taylor era fall flat on its face out of the gates. Although it seems likely they’ll win one before the regular season comes to a close, I don’t think it’ll be in Week 13 against New York.

Even on the road, the Jets get off to a strong start and don’t look back. While Dalton keeps things from getting completely out of hand, he can’t muster enough offense to earn the Bengals their first win of 2019. Another disappointing loss for Cincinnati.

Prediction: Jets win 26-17
