Washington Redskins (2-9) at Carolina Panthers (5-6)

Sunday, December 1, 1PM ET

Yay! The Washington Redskins won another game. They’re still arguably the least talented team in the NFL, having mustered little to no offense for much of the 2019 campaign. In Week 13, the go head-to-head with a Carolina Panthers team that must win to keep its playoff hopes alive.

A matchup with the Redskins should prove to be fortuitous for the Panthers, who absolutely have D.C. beat on paper. They’ve got the far superior offense (even with Kyle Allen at the helm) and a defense capable of wreaking havoc on a young, mistake-prone quarterback like Dwayne Haskins.

Despite the Panthers’ recent struggles, this should be exactly what they need to pull out of this three-game skid. Allen and Christian McCaffrey should be able to do work against a Washington defense that is giving up 24.5 points per game while ranking 28th in the league when it comes to slow the run. The MVP candidate seems destined for another stellar performance.

The Redskins will certainly be feeling confident after their Week 12 win over the Lions, but that one didn’t carry much weight. Facing off against a superior Panthers team should yield yet another loss, while Carolina keeps their slimming postseason hopes alive for at least one more week.

Prediction: Panthers win 34-13
