Defense/Special Teams

The Carolina Panthers (vs. WAS, $3,800) are the most expensive defense on the Sunday/Monday slate, but better values exist. For example, the Philadelphia Eagles (at MIA, $3,600), one of the most improved defenses in the league over the past two weeks, should wreak havoc on turnover-prone Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins.

The Los Angeles Chargers (at DEN, $3,100) can get to the quarterback, much to the chagrin of Denver Broncos fans, who’ll spend their Sunday watching Brandon Allen peel himself up off the turf over and over again. Expect the Chargers to finish as a Top Five DFS defense in Week 13.

The Baltimore Ravens (vs. SF, $2,800) were a $4,000 defense on DraftKings just three weeks ago. Since then, they’ve allowed a total of 26 points, logged four interceptions, recovered three fumbles, notched 11 sacks, and scored a pair of touchdowns. With that in mind, their current price seems a bit disrespectful, as DraftKings is clearly more enamored with the 49ers offense.

Finally, the Cleveland Browns (at PIT, $2,600) face a Steelers offense that’s starting its third different quarterback of the season. The Steelers will likely be without James Conner, and JuJu Smith-Schuster won’t be 100 percent, if he plays at all. The Browns have recorded three or more sacks in four of their last five games, and have hauled in six interceptions in their past two contests. Therefore, DFS sharks will likely be all over the Browns in Week 13.
