Who will win the loaded NFC, what is the outlook for Jason Garrett, how did the Bengals mess up and much more in the NFL Notebook from Week 12.

It’s hard to be thankful when there’s only five weeks of the NFL regular season left. However, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I feel like it’s more important to focus on what there is to be thankful for rather than what there isn’t, and there’s a lot to appreciate from this past weekend of football.

I’m thankful for the playoff picture, which is slowly taking form. I’m thankful for the NFC, where not one team can seem to take control of the conference, yet. I’m thankful for Lamar Jackson’s sheer dominance, and how he and the Ravens could be the one to unseat the great New England Patriots.

I’m thankful for not one big guy touchdown, but two big guy touchdowns, courtesy of Vita Vea and Dennis Kelly. All joking aside, I’m mostly thankful for the opportunity to write this column/article each week and to promote it on my Twitter, @ZachCohenFB.

Whether you’re reading this because you’re looking for a unique recap of the latest action in football, or you’re just simply bored, I’m thankful for your time to see what this writer to say. Here’s what I’m saying in this week’s NFL Notebook:

  • There’s four, maybe five, teams in the NFC who could win it all
  • It’s finally the end for the 2004 Quarterback Class
  • Jason Garrett better start winning…
  • The Bengals continue to botch everything up
  • I disagree with the latest College Football Playoff rankings
  • Hidden gems who could win you your fantasy league
  • Which teams might (and probably should) draft certain quarterbacks
  • And so much more…

First, let’s take a trip to the NFC, where I can’t seem to pick a favorite after 12 weeks of play.
