9. Murray helps Cardinals upset Rams

After enjoying a week off, the Arizona Cardinals would love nothing more than to return to action in Week 13, and hand the Los Angeles Rams another loss to make their potential path to the playoffs even more difficult to achieve.

Despite coming up short the way they did in the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots last February, the Rams were still considered one of the early favorites in the NFC to make another run this season.

And while this seems like a long shot to pull off now with the way this season has turned out, this isn’t going to stop Los Angeles from continuing to try.

Originally, a matchup with a rebuilding team in the Cardinals seemed like the perfect opportunity for the Rams to earn a Week 13 win, but unfortunately this is no longer the case.

Kyler Murray is nowhere near the same level as Lamar Jackson at the moment, but the rookie’s ability to scramble with his legs could prove to be a nightmare for Los Angeles on defense.

If the Rams come up short again on Sunday like they did this past Monday in their loss to Baltimore, Sean McVay’s team can officially kiss those playoff hopes goodbye.
