8. McCaffrey finishes with 200+ yards from scrimmage

Isn’t it crazy to think about how quickly a season can change for a team like the Carolina Panthers?

Due to their impressive play from the first two months, the Panthers appeared to be at least a lock for a Wild Card spot in the NFC, only to enter Week 13 fighting for their playoff lives.

After losing for the fourth time in five games this past Sunday in an intense battle with the New Orleans Saints, Carolina needs to put together some big wins over the final five weeks while receiving some help from other teams in the process.

Of course, this is always easier said than done for a team like the Panthers, but at least a home matchup against the Washington Redskins on Sunday could help get back on the right track before it’s too late.

In order to have the best chance of this happening, Christian McCaffrey will need another one of those games in which the star running back receives a heavy workload, whether it happens to be on the ground or through the air.

Washington’s defense has proven to be tougher than expected at times, but McCaffrey knows his team is on the verge of hitting desperation mode, and could use a monster performance.
