5. Thomas sees double-digit targets for eighth game in a row

Lamar Jackson certainly deserves to be the favorite to take home MVP honors at the moment, but Michael Thomas at least deserves to be part of the conversation with the kind of season the wideout has put together.

With 104 catches to his name through 11 games, Thomas should have little trouble eventually settling the single-season record for receptions, although winning games is what the Ohio State product really cares about the most.

Whatever it takes to help New Orleans make a deep run at the playoffs, Thomas will be ready to contribute on the offensive side of the football to put the Saints in the best position possible.

Before jumping too far ahead down the road, Thomas and the Saints have to deal with playing on a shorter week with a tough matchup on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons may have earned the win during the first meeting between these NFC South rivals a few weeks ago, but keeping the football out of Thomas’ hands will be another tough challenge as usual.

No matter how hard Atlanta’s defense tries to keep Thomas in check, they may not have any answers for the Saints wideout when the two teams square off on Thursday.
