18. Driskel finally earns first win as Lions starter

Over the last few weeks, there have been numerous times in which the Detroit Lions appear to be on their way to earning their first win since the end of October, only to let the game slip away.

Even this past weekend against the Washington Redskins, the Lions seemed like they were about to reward Jeff Driskel his first win as a starter for Detroit, only to watch things slip away.

Sooner or later, the Lions seem like they will finally get Driskel that first win, and it could even come on Thanksgiving Day if Detroit is lucky with the Chicago Bears coming to town.

Believe it or not, this will mark the second time in November these NFC North rivals will be squaring off against one another, and after seeing how close the Lions came to winning the first time around before losing 20-13, they should feel confident in this one.

Playing on Thanksgiving Day has always been a fun tradition for the Lions, and will sometimes motivate the team to elevate their game to a new level, which could very well happen against the Bears.

Overcoming Chicago’s elite defense certainly won’t be easy, but since Driskel may never get another opportunity to start on Thanksgiving again, no one would be surprised if the Lions quarterback came out with a strong outing.
