14. Ertz catches 15 passes

Unfair or not, the criticism surrounding Carson Wentz is going to continue over the final five weeks of the regular season if the Philadelphia Eagles struggle to win games, and come up short of reaching the playoffs.

Back at the beginning of September, the Eagles seemed to be on their way to having one of the league’s top offenses before it all went downhill.

Philadelphia was already fortunate enough to have Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz, but the addition of DeSean Jackson was supposed to take the offense to new levels in 2019.

Between Jackson only appearing in Week 1 as a result of an injury along with Jeffery missing the last few games, the current group of receivers Wentz is forced to work with are an absolute joke for the Eagles.

At least when it comes to Ertz, the star tight end hasn’t missed a single game over the last two seasons, and could be in for another heavy workload on Sunday with Philadelphia traveling to Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins.

With Ertz hauling in 30 catches over the last three games, Eagles fans could see their tight end finish with his best game of the season to help take down the Dolphins.
