New Orleans Saints: 3 Bold predictions vs. Falcons, Week 13
1. Wil Lutz is responsible for Saints’ last score
Last but not least is a prediction related to the score of the game. Looking at their last meeting, the Falcons dominated the Saints in every quarter. Heading into this game, that’s not going to be the case. Rather, the Saints are going to play tough early and give themselves some cushion. It worked against the Panthers up until the very end in which Wil Lutz bailed them out.
In the Week 13 matchup, I predict that Wil Lutz will once again be the Saints’ final scorer in this week’s game. Of course, the Saints are going to put up some major points in the first three quarters as they have in previous weeks. For some reason though, the Saints kind of fall apart in the 4th quarter. It happened last week against the Panthers with the Saints barely beating them but they pulled through.
While the margin last time was wide, I think that the Saints will be cursed as they have been this season and for the past few years. They’ll play tough before eventually relying on Wil Lutz to put their final points on the board. While I do think the Saints are going to beat the Falcons, it’s going to be a close game. Some may disagree, but the Falcons have proven that they can beat the Saints and the Saints need to show that they aren’t going to be pushed around again.
Even if the game isn’t close, I still think that Wil Lutz will have the last score of the game. He’s been the deciding factor in multiple games this season so why would this meeting be any different? In some ways, Wil Lutz has been the most clutch player on the team. As for this second meeting though, it’s going to be all about the Saints.
