Here are five teams that should consider themselves on upset alert for NFL Week 13 of the 2019 season.

Even though there weren’t any crazy upsets last weekend, there are plenty of strong candidates that should be on upset alert for NFL Week 13 when looking at some of the matchups taking place over the next few days.

At the beginning of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles were considered one of the top teams to beat in the NFC after previously earning trips to the playoffs over the last two years.

Not only was the defense expected to be one of the top units in the league once again, but the offense was supposed to reach new levels with a new duo at running back in Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders along with the addition of DeSean Jackson as a deep threat.

Unfortunately, injuries have played a major role in Philadelphia failing to live up to the hype on the offensive side of the football, and while the last two weeks would make it seem like the Eagles season is over, they’re still somehow alive in the playoff hunt.

All the Eagles need to do over the final month of action is win the necessary games along with receiving some help from the Dallas Cowboys, and this team could actually finish on top of the NFC East.

But before jumping too far ahead since plenty needs to happen from now until the end of January, Philadelphia needs to make sure they avoid being on the wrong side of an upset this weekend against the Miami Dolphins, along with a few other teams.
