5. New York Jets

Don’t look now, but the New York Jets are heating up at the perfect time, and are coming off a huge win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 12 to make it seem like they could make things in the AFC a little more interesting over these final five weeks.

After blowing out the Raiders the way they did, most football fans would assume that a team like the Jets would have little trouble getting by a Cincinnati Bengals team that has yet to win a single game in 2019.

But since desperation tends to sometimes bring out the best in teams, what if New York allowed Cincinnati to earn their first win of the regular season to avoid ending up on the wrong side of NFL history.

Never in a million years did the Bengals ever think they would be in this position still in search of that first win in 2019 since expectations were high when Zac Taylor was brought on board as the new head coach.

Just how bad have things been in Cincinnati? The fact that Andy Dalton will be back under center after the Bengals decided to give it a go with rookie Ryan Finley for a few games shows how much of a mess this team really is.

Since the Bengals seem to be heading towards the direction of moving on from Dalton once the offseason arrives, the TCU product could use these final few games as an audition for his next team, which means if he comes out firing, the Jets could be in trouble.
