2. John DeFilippo gets very creative with his quarterbacks

John DeFilippo has the luxury of having two good quarterbacks on the roster. He can only put one on the field at a time — or can he? Does he ever think outside the box?

How creative would it be for Jacksonville to line up with two quarterbacks on the field on the same play? How cool would it be to see Nick Foles lateral to Minshew to throw to Fournette on a seam route? Or perhaps Minshew could come in to spark the offense on a third-and-short play.

Fournette has had a very good season. However, it’s time to get creative offensively. Fournette would definitely benefit if Jacksonville threw some crazy formations and schemes out on Sunday.

The Jaguars have had zero contribution from the tight end position since James O’Shaughnessy’s injury. Why not throw in a wrinkle with three wideouts, two quarterbacks and Fournette? Tampa Bay might get confused and blow their coverage.

DeFilippo will find a way to jump-start the offense with both quarterbacks. Foles will benefit with Minshew taking some of the pressure off him. Why keep an offensive weapon on the sideline when you can use him in strategic points in the game?
