Before the Minnesota Vikings travel to face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13 on MNF, here are three bold predictions for the Vikings going into the game.

The Minnesota Vikings will return to action in Week 13 of the 2019 NFL season on the national stage while being well-rested and ready to take on a tough NFC opponent. Coming off of their bye week in Week 12, Minnesota will hit the road for a matchup on Monday Night Football against a team that sits ahead of it in the NFC playoff picture.

The Vikings will travel to CenturyLink Field in Seattle, a showdown between the two teams currently in the two Wild Card positions in the NFC postseason layout.

Minnesota comes into the game with a record of 8-3 overall on the season, coming off of taking down the Denver Broncos in Week 11 in Minneapolis to grab its second win in a row going into the bye week last weekend.

The Vikings, who are tied with the Green Bay Packers (8-3 overall) for first place in the NFC North division while sitting ahead of the Chicago Bears (5-6) and Detroit Lions (3-7-1) in the standings, currently sit in the No. 6 spot in the NFC standings, which is good for the second Wild Card position at the moment behind only the Seahawks.

Seattle will welcome Minnesota into its home stadium this week riding a four-game winning streak while holding an overall record of 9-2 on the year following defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12 of the regular season last weekend.

The Seahawks sit in second place in the NFC West standings behind only the San Francisco 49ers atop the division at 10-1 overall. Seattle, however, holds a decent lead over both the Los Angeles Rams (6-5) and the Arizona Cardinals (3-7-1) below the Seahawks in the standings.

Going into the game this weekend in Week 13 between Minnesota and Seattle, the Seahawks hold a narrow lead over the Vikings for the top Wild Card position, which will make for an interesting storyline and something to keep in mind throughout the game on Monday night.

Before Minnesota and Seattle square off on the national stage on Monday Night Football in Week 13, let’s dive into three bold predictions that will take place for the Vikings throughout the course of the game.
