The Green Bay Packers have a favorable matchup with the Giants to get back on track in Week 13. Bold predictions for the contest vs. New York.

Just when it looked like the Green Bay Packers were in line to make a late-season surge and then perhaps a Super Bowl run, they looked more like frauds than ever before. One week ago against the 49ers, Aaron Rodgers and the Pack were completely stifled as they suffered an embarrassing 37-8 loss. Now at 8-3, they need to rebound as they head to MetLife Stadium for a Week 13 date with the New York Giants.

Things have certainly not gone the way of the Giants this season. Yes, they made the wise decision to move to Daniel Jones from Eli Manning but their 2-9 record shows how much of a struggle this roster has had overall. Despite what Green Bay looked like last week, it’s hard to see Big Blue’s woes dissipating against Matt LaFleur’s club.

How dominant will the Pack be, though, is perhaps the better question. To determine that, let’s make five bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers in Week 13.

5. Rodgers throws for 450+ yards, 5 TDs

As the Packers as a whole were shut down by the 49ers last week, Aaron Rodgers was a part of the shortcomings. The MVP candidate and franchise quarterback completed 20 of his 33 pass attempts but did so for only 104 yards and one touchdown. But hey, at least he avoided a turnover.

The Giants are not the 49ers, which is perhaps the biggest understatement of the century. Whereas San Francisco might be one of the league’s two best defenses, New York is among the worst, giving up 28.0 points and 393.2 yards per game.

Rodgers is going to attack a bad secondary and take advantage of the little pass rush that Big Blue is able to get on just about anyone. The Packers star signal-caller will dice the Giants up all afternoon, finishing with close to 500 yards and a quintet of throws to the end zone resulting in points.
