18. Chicago Bears (22)

Right when it seemed like Mitch Trubisky and the Chicago Bears were heading towards another week of criticism, the team found a way to rally when needed the most on Thanksgiving Day to hand the Detroit Lions a 24-20 loss.

When looking at some of the criticism Trubisky has seen over the last few months, Thursday’s game seemed like the ultimate confidence booster for the former first-round pick after the Bears quarterback threw for 338 yards to go along with three touchdown passes.

This may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but with all of the inconsistent play on offense for Chicago, but since there has been previous talk over whether the Bears should move on from Trubisky in the offseason, this is huge.

One game certainly doesn’t mean Trubisky is off the hook for some of the struggles on offense this season, but hopefully this is a sign of what’s to come in December.

If Trubisky can find a way to end 2019 on a high note with solid play, this could make the Bears feel more comfortable about sticking with him beyond this season since the offense can’t afford to go through another year in which they fail to come through on their end.
