17. Oakland Raiders (14)

For the second week in a row, the Oakland Raiders were in the perfect position to make a statement to the rest of the AFC over having what it takes to part of the playoff conversation.

This could still turn out to be the case for Jon Gruden’s squad, but after suffering another embarrassing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Raiders may not be ready to be part of the conversation after all.

It was one thing to watch Oakland struggle the way they did in Week 12 against the New York Jets since even the best teams have an off week, but losing to Kansas City 40-9 made it clear who deserves the honors of team to beat within the division.

By taking down the Chiefs, the Raiders could have been in great position to finish on top of the AFC West against all odds, but with the team now trailing their rivals by two full games, this now seems highly unlikely to happen.

Not to mention, the Raiders will have to face one of the hottest teams the NFL has to offer in the Tennessee Titans during Week 14, meaning there’s a good chance that Oakland is on the verge of watching their losing streak reach three games.
