15. Dallas Cowboys (12)

How thankful are the Dallas Cowboys this holiday season for the Miami Dolphins after Ryan Fitzpatrick and company handed the Philadelphia Eagles a shocking loss on Sunday?

But instead of going into details over what took place in that contest, the Cowboys need to do whatever it takes to figure out how to defeat playoff contenders, or they’re going to see an early exit in January if Dallas earns the opportunity.

The fact that Dallas still has a one-game lead in the NFC East at the moment with a 6-6 record is truly incredible to think about, and shows how much of a break they continue to catch each week.

If the Eagles didn’t continue to find new ways to come up short in games they were expected to win, the Cowboys would be fighting for their playoff lives, and be on the outside looking in at the moment.

For weeks, there’s been speculation the division will be decided in Week 16 when Dallas heads to Philadelphia, and this seems to be more likely by the day.

Coming up short at home on Thanksgiving Day to the Buffalo Bills was beyond frustrating for obvious reasons, and the Cowboys better figure out a way to start competing better, or Philadelphia is going to take advantage of that Week 16 matchup.
