10. Minnesota Vikings (7) – Play Monday Night vs. Seahawks

Similar to last season around this time, the Minnesota Vikings control their own destiny in the NFC, and hopefully unlike last year, Mike Zimmer’s team will figure out a way to earn one of the playoff spots.

For the sake of the Vikings, the best approach to take seems to be focusing on one game at a time, and with a tough road battle scheduled for Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota better be ready.

Coincidentally, the Vikings and Seahawks would each be in the playoffs if the regular season were to end today, but even they know plenty could change over the next few weeks.

Heading into last season, Minnesota felt confident enough in Kirk Cousins being the missing piece on offense to help the Vikings finally earn a trip to the playoffs, and the pressure was higher than ever entering 2019 after the team missed out during his first season with the team.

Cousins has played on a MVP level at times throughout the regular season, and if he wants to keep Minnesota in great position for a playoff spot, the Vikings quarterback will need a strong outing on Monday, which unfortunately has been a problem before.

No one needs to explain some of the previous struggles by Cousins during these primetime games, but the Vikings should still feel confident in their beloved quarterback.
