5. Green Bay Packers (6)

One week after suffering an embarrassing loss on the road to the San Francisco 49ers, the Green Bay Packers knew they couldn’t afford to miss out on the perfect opportunity to win in Week 13 against a struggling team in the New York Giants.

All due respect to the Giants since anything could happen on Sundays, but since New York’s last win came all the way back in September, the Packers seemed like they would have little trouble improving to 9-3.

Turns out, this was exactly the case for Green Bay, as Aaron Rodgers did what he does best by finishing with four touchdown passes, despite the cold weather conditions.

With the Giants’ secondary looking awful for the most part all season, Rodgers knew this could potentially turn into one of those games in which it would be easy to find the end zone, and what’s even more exciting is the Packers will remain on top of the NFC North for at least one more week.

Since the Minnesota Vikings don’t actually play until Monday, one can only imagine the high level of concern if Green Bay finished on the wrong end of an upset by falling to New York, but luckily it’s a non-concern since the Packers took down the Giants 31-13.
