31. Cincinnati Bengals (32)

After three months of frustration, the Cincinnati Bengals finally earned their first win of 2019 by defeating the New York Jets in Week 13 to make sure they didn’t end up on the wrong side of NFL history.

One win isn’t going to take away from the entire season of frustration in general for the Bengals, but just helping Zac Taylor earn that first win as head coach will at least remove extra pressure for the remainder of the regular season.

With that being said, Cincinnati finds themselves in an interesting position heading into the final four games since this could be Andy Dalton‘s final audition to show he deserves consideration for being the quarterback of the future.

For reasons that were difficult to explain, the Bengals seemed to be throwing the towel in on 2019 a few weeks ago when they benched Dalton for rookie Ryan Finley before making the switch back for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Dalton didn’t stand out like some of the other quarterbacks from the weekend, but the fact that he was able to do enough on offense to secure the win will be viewed as a bigger deal than most football fans realize.

As bad as it sounds, when looking at the remaining schedule for Cincinnati, Sunday’s win over the Jets seems like it will be the only one for the Bengals in 2019, which is still better than going 0-16.
