26. Los Angeles Chargers (23)

Over the years, the Los Angeles Chargers have been one of those teams with an unfortunate reputation of always finding ways to lose close games, but what has taken place this year is unheard of.

Just how bad has it been for the Chargers in 2019? Well when seeing how Los Angeles has lost each of their eight games by single digits, this is the perfect example of how the team just hasn’t been able to catch a break all season.

For their latest disappointing outing, the Chargers came up just short of defeating the Denver Broncos after losing 23-20 on Sunday after Brandon McManus converted the game-winning field goal from 53 yards out as time expired.

Controversy penalty towards the game or not, it still doesn’t take away from the fact that Los Angeles was in this position to begin with against a Denver team they should normally have little trouble against.

After previously having high expectations at the beginning of the season following their impressive run in the playoffs last year, it looks like the Chargers will be watching from home this time around.

And once their offseason does get underway, Los Angeles needs to give some serious consideration over whether Philip Rivers is still the right answer under center.
