With the Minnesota Vikings falling in Week 13 of the regular season to the Seattle Seahawks, here are three studs and duds from the game on Monday.

The Minnesota Vikings came into Week 13 of the 2019 NFL season well-rested while coming off of a bye week in Week 12 while looking to steal a big NFC contest on the road on Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. Entering the matchup, Seattle were winners of six of its last seven games.

The Vikings, going into the week at 8-3 overall and in the second Wild Card spot in the NFC playoff picture while sitting behind the Seahawks in the top Wild Card position, needed to pick up a big win on the road to not only keep pace with the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North standings but to also try and overtake the top spot in the Wild Card race.

Minnesota ultimately fell on the road and to Seattle in front of its home fans, dropping the contest 37-30 despite a late-game comeback attempt in the fourth quarter.

In the game, the Vikings got out to a nice start on the road against the Seahawks, opening the game up by holding a 17-10 advantage going into halftime. In the second half, Minnesota allowed Seattle to go off for 27 points while managing to record just 13, ultimately falling away from home in a tough road environment.

With the loss, Minnesota dropped to 8-4 overall on the season and is now 3-4 away from home and in road contests up to this point in the year. The Vikings stand pat as the second NFC Wild Card team and move down to second place in the NFC North standings behind only the Green Bay Packers (9-3), still remaining ahead of the Chicago Bears (6-6) and Detroit Lions (3-8-1) in the division.

The Vikings will return to action in Week 14 when they return back home to Minneapolis to host the Lions in an NFC North showdown at US Bank Stadium, a place where Minnesota holds a perfect 5-0 record at up to this point in the season.

Now with the Week 13 slate of games around the NFL in the books following the Vikings and Seahawks game on Monday Night Football in Seattle, let’s go back and pick out three studs and duds for Minnesota from the game.
