Stud: Kirk Cousins

Although a bulk of the night consisted of people talking about the fact that Kirk Cousins has yet to record a win on Monday Night Football in his career in his eighth attempt thus far in his NFL career, Cousins performed relatively well and helped put the Vikings in a solid position late in the game to try and grab the win on the road.

In the loss on the road in Seattle, Cousins finished with 276 yards through the air along with two touchdowns. He converted on 22 of his overall 38 pass attempts, grabbing a quarterback rating of 87.2 in the game. Cousins did manage to record an interception in the contest, although it was a ball that went off of the hands of Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs that resulted in Seattle forcing a turnover.

Overall, Cousins managed to put together yet another strong performance in Week 13 to continue his string of positive play so far in 2019.

Dud: Cook leaving with an injury

Another dud that took place for Minnesota throughout the course of the game against Seattle on Monday night was the fact that Vikings running back Dalvin Cook left the game with an injury and wasn’t able to return to the field. A few weeks ago against the Denver Broncos, Cook appeared to have tweaked something with his right shoulder that bugged him even leading up to the game in Week 13 on Monday night.

In the third quarter of the contest on Monday Night Football against the Seahawks, Cook ended up fumbling the ball and ultimately leaving the game in the third quarter of action, immediately going back to the locker room while not returning to the game for Minnesota. After the game, Cook told the media he will be ready for the Week 14 contest against the Detroit Lions this Sunday, but it will be interesting to see if this injury continues to bug him moving ahead.
