Seattle Seahawks (10-2) at Los Angeles Rams (7-5)

Sunday, December 8, 8:20PM ET

All year long, the Los Angeles Rams have been hot and cold. They got off to a strong start, lost a few games, bounced back, took another tumble and then managed a big win a week ago. Now, they’ll be looking to get a huge win at home against the smokin’ hot Seattle Seahawks.

Yeah, unfortunately, that’s just not going to happen. Put simply, the Seahawks just bring too much to the table for the Rams to take them down. Russell Wilson is playing MVP-caliber football, the Seattle ground game is nearly unstoppable, and the defense is doing a great job of creating turnovers at clutch moments.

Do you really think Jared Goff is ready to make plays and avoid mistakes for 60 minutes against this Seahawks team? Or do you believe the Rams defense, which has taken a big step backwards in 2019, can contain Wilson, Chris Carson, and the rest of the Seattle offense for that same amount of time? Probably not.

The Rams will put up a respectable fight, especially in front of their hometown crowd. Heck, they better after the mess they made at the Coliseum in Week 12. And yet, it won’t be enough in the end as their playoff chances continue to dwindle.

Prediction: Seahawks win 24-20
