2. Bengals

After three months of frustration, the Cincinnati Bengals finally earned their first win of 2019 in Week 13 after taking down the New York Jets.

Since this season became a lost cause a long time ago, the main focus for the Bengals in recent weeks has been on making sure they avoid ending up on the wrong side of NFL history by going the entire year without winning a single game.

Thanks to results of Week 13, this will no longer be the case for Cincinnati since they now have one win to their name.

But as far as their quarterback situation is concerned, this season has made it clear the Bengals are far from convinced that Andy Dalton will be their starter in 2020.

For whatever reason, Cincinnati thought it would be a good idea to make the switch from Dalton to rookie Ryan Finley at the beginning of November before making the switch back in Week 13.

With all due respect to Finley, Dalton was clearly the better option to win games, and while it was great to see what the rookie quarterback could bring to the table, it was tough to imagine him being successful in this kind of offense.

Part of the reason behind the team’s hiring of Zac Taylor last offseason was due to his previous history of quarterback development, and if the head coach doesn’t like his current options in Cincinnati, Foles would almost seem too good to be true.
