5. Browns

Since the Cleveland Browns have failed to live up to the Super Bowl expectations so far in 2019, one of the most popular topics of discussion this offseason will most likely be whether Freddie Kitchens deserves to still be the head coach.

Between Baker Mayfield showing plenty of potential as a rookie along with the team coming up big by acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York GIants, the Browns seemed ready to finally make the major leap in the AFC to serious contender.

With Cleveland currently sitting at 5-7 on the outside looking in of the playoffs, it’s safe to say this year has turned into another year of disappointment in Cleveland, and one can only imagine how the fan base is feeling after all the previous excitement.

And while Kitchens doesn’t deserve the entire blame for some of the struggles involving the Browns, it’s no secret that coaching has been a key factor in the team currently sitting where they are in the AFC standings.

After years of frustration, it’s beyond disappointing to see Cleveland let another golden opportunity go to complete waste, and since Rivera does have playoff experience, the case can be made he would be an upgrade over Kitchens.
