2. Falcons

Could the NFC South see two head coaches gone by the end of December if the Atlanta Falcons decide to move on from Dan Quinn?

Despite the Falcons appearing to turn things around a few weeks ago following impressive wins over the Panthers and New Orleans Saints, it seemed like only a matter of time before Quinn was out of a job.

With only a few weeks remaining in the regular season, the Falcons will need to decide whether Quinn deserves another shot to prove himself worthy in 2020, or if the team would be better off finding someone else.

A few years ago, Quinn was considered one of the top coaches in the NFL since Atlanta was one of the top contenders in the NFC, but this shows how quickly things can change across the league.

The fact that Atlanta lost six games in a row at one point in 2019 shows what kind of year it’s been for the Falcons, which is part of the reason why there’s been so much talk surrounding Quinn’s future.

Since Atlanta can’t afford to miss out on the playoffs for a third year in a row during the 2020 season, a fresh start with someone like Rivera could work wonders for the Falcons, and take the rivalry with the Panthers to new levels moving forward.
