10. Murray leads Cardinals to upset over Steelers
Since their unexpected three-game winning streak in October, the Arizona Cardinals enter Week 14 as losers of five games in a row, although there’s no reason to hit the panic button since this team is nowhere near the level of being considered a playoff contender.
As much as the Cardinals wanted to make the leap to become contenders in the NFC once again during the 2019 season, most football fans seemed confident in this team heading towards a year of rebuilding.
Basically, with Kyler Murray adjusting to the NFL, Arizona’s main focus seemed to be on the rookie getting as much early experience as possible to help him develop into the kind of quarterback the Cardinals need him to be in the future.
With that being said, despite Murray receiving a major wake-up call last Sunday in the brutal loss to the Los Angeles Rams, there have been times in which he’s proven to be a nightmare for opposing defenses.
The defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers has certainly looked impressive at times over the course of the 2019 season, but with Murray and the Cardinals having nothing to lose other than playing spoiler role, this seems like a perfect opportunity for an upset.
