7. Penny follows up with another multi-touchdown game

Thanks to some help from the Baltimore Ravens defeating the San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks officially moved into first place in the NFC West, and are in the running for the top overall seed as well in the conference, although plenty could still change.

The last thing Seattle can afford to do is assume they will finish on top of the division since San Francisco will make it tough the second time around in a few weeks, but for now, the main focus for the Seahawks is on Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Even though Seattle won the first meeting against their rivals, football fans should be reminded that Los Angeles nearly pulled off the win if it weren’t for a missed field goal by Greg Zuerlein to end the game.

Defeating the Rams for a second time in 2019 to earn the sweep will be easier said than done for the Seahawks, and Seattle could be in for another week of heavily relying on Rasaad Penny in the backfield.

After watching the running back find his way into the end zone twice on Monday in the win over the Minnesota Vikings, Penny could be in for a similar performance against the Rams’ defense.
