1. 49ers suffer second loss in a row

Isn’t is crazy to see how a team like the San Francisco 49ers can go from the No. 1 seed in the NFC to a Wild Card spot in the span of a week?

One can only imagine how different the outcome of last Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens would have been for the 49ers with better weather conditions. But since there’s nothing they can do about it now, San Francisco just needs to focus on keeping things close with the Seattle Seahawks for the division race.

Coincidentally, the New Orleans Saints are the ones that benefitted from the 49ers loss to the Ravens, and moved into the top spot for the NFC playoff picture, meaning they can continue to claim their lead with another win on Sunday.

2019 has turned out to be an interesting season with the Saints between losing Drew Brees for some time due to a thumb injury on top of the fact they all of a sudden currently hold the No. 1 seed, but New Orleans is happy to be in this current position.
