14. Rodgers rests all of fourth quarter

Dream matchup seems like the perfect way to describe last weekend’s game for the Green Bay Packers after Aaron Rodgers made it look easy in the win over the New York Giants by tossing four touchdown passes.

One week after suffering an embarrassing loss on the road to the San Francisco 49ers, Rodgers and the Packers realized the importance of bouncing back with a strong performance against the Giants to show they do in fact deserve to be viewed as a legitimate threat in the NFC.

Defeating a team with only two wins in the Giants may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but since the Packers needed the victory to stay on top of the NFC North, this was a bigger deal than most football fans realized at the time.

If Rodgers thought beating the Giants was easy, just imagine what kind of numbers the future Hall of Fame could display with the Washington Redskins coming to town for Week 14.

Despite the Redskins showing unexpected life in recent weeks, this team seems like no match for the Packers, and if they jump out to an early lead, this could result in Rodgers seeing some extra rest towards the end of the game.
