3. Amari Cooper torches Bears for 200-yard day

Amari Cooper has been dealing with leg injuries for the majority of the 2019 season but the Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver has still managed to be highly productive, accruing 64 receptions for 971 yards and seven touchdowns on the season through 12 games. However, prior to putting up eight catches for 85 yards last week, he managed just three receptions on eight targets for 38 yards in his previous two outings.

While that may be true, he’s also been in tough matchups in each of the last three weeks, having to go up against Darius Slay, Stephon Gilmore and Tre’Davious White. As he’s been ailing a bit, some of those tough matchups have forced Dak Prescott to look elsewhere. It’s still apparent, though, that Cooper is the favorite target of the quarterback, but especially so in favorable matchups.

Despite the narrative around the Bears defense, this is a favorable matchup for Cooper. Prince Amukamara is doubtful to play in Week 14, meaning that Chicago has no one that can match up one-on-one with the Cowboys star — not that Amukamara is the same caliber of corner as the aforementioned trio either.

Prescott is going to look to Cooper often throughout this game to exploit that matchup and try to keep the Dallas offense humming and make a statement in primetime. That will work to perfection as Cooper will feast in this matchup and pick up his second 200-yard game of the season, likely scoring a touchdown or two along the way.
