1. Cowboys pick up double-digit road win over Bears

Though we’ve talked about plenty of positives for the Chicago Bears in this matchup, the simple truth about this team is that they are not explosive on offense and they have been mistake-prone (Re: Turnover-prone) throughout the season, particularly as it pertains to Trubisky. That’s going to doom them against this Dallas Cowboys team.

While I still believe that the Bears can effectively run the ball on Dallas and that Miller can have success against this secondary, the Cowboys have been effective at making splash plays on defense and at getting after the quarterback. With how Trubisky has struggled under pressure in 2019, that’s going to force him into bad decisions a number of times and Dallas will take advantage.

Expect Trubisky to commit at least two turnovers in this game to kill drives and momentum. And when the Bears lose momentum, their offense can often stall completely. Given that the Chicago defense has not been at the level we saw them play at last season, this explosive Cowboys offense is going to take advantage of that and build a sizeable cushion.

Make no mistake, these are two quite mediocre NFL teams. But in terms of how they match up against one another, the Cowboys have an extra gear that the Bears simply don’t. And when you throw in the potential for turnovers, that’s a hefty advantage for Dallas as they should be able to secure a decisive victory on the road.
