Two dominant teams in the NFC, the New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers, face off in Week 14 and these three Saints need to be stars.

In what might be the biggest game of the season, the New Orleans Saints are taking on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Week 14. Could it be a look at a possible NFC Championship Game matchup? Maybe — but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First, the two teams are facing off in Week 14 and what an exciting matchup for the pair of possible contenders.

For the Saints, it’s their chance to exert their dominance in the NFC playoff race. For the 49ers, it’s a chance for them to show that they can bounce back from a tough loss and compete with the conference’s elite.

Both teams have had ups and downs this year, but managed to pull through. It’s a little bit shocking the NFL didn’t flex this game to a better timeslot but, instead, they’re getting the usual 1:00 p.m. ET timeslot as originally planned.

Regardless, this Week 14 match is easily the biggest can’t-miss game on Sunday. It’s fair to say that both teams are pretty evenly matched on both sides, so it’ll be interesting to see how that translates to the field. Both teams are going to have their hands full. For the Saints, a win is going to be the icing on the cake for their impressive season and set the precedent for the rest of the year.

Whether it’s on offense, defense or special teams, everyone is going to have to put in maximum effort. Thankfully, the Saints should have no problem with that. Before the game kicks off, these are three players who must make an impact against the 49ers.
