3. Minnesota Vikings

Speaking of the Minnesota Vikings, as previously mentioned, the team missed out on an opportunity to keep the same record with the Green Bay Packers entering Week 14 after coming up short on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

Throughout his career, Kirk Cousins has developed the unfortunate reputation for being unable to win games on Monday Night Football, and just when it seemed like the Vikings quarterback was going to defeat the Seahawks, Minnesota came up short.

The good news for the Vikings is despite failing to come through in Seattle, the team still controls their own playoff destiny currently sitting in the No. 6 seed when it comes to the NFC playoff picture.

After defeating the Detroit Lions 42-30 during their first meeting against their rivals in 2019, the Vikings would love nothing more than to complete the sweep, which of course will be easier said than done.

Detroit may be down to their third-string quarterback in David Blough, but this is a player with nothing to lose this late in the season other than proving he belongs on a NFL roster next season.

This may seem like the Vikings will have little trouble getting by, but this is the last approach Minnesota can afford to take.
